Finding an Original That You Will Be Happy With
Michael Jackson paintings are growing in popularity with every day that passes since his shocking and unfortunate death. His death was like one of those situations where you will always remember where you were when you heard about it. I was painting a house when my wife came in and told me. I couldn't believe it. It took me a few seconds to register the thought, totally unbelievable.
I, like thousands of others, have been a huge fan of Michael Jackson. I can remember being a kid and trying to do the moonwalk. I used to have posters of him on my wall. As life moved on the posters came down, but the love for his music stayed strong.
When I head of his death I knew it was time to again put up some Michael Jackson paintings. It certainly is not hard to find all kinds of different paintings of the king of pop. The internet is full of artist selling their work. Right away I found many great posters and paintings that I liked. I didn't make any purchases though because I wanted to shop around and find a truly unique interpretation, a painting that was just as unique as Michael himself.
Recently I read an article saying that Ganizu, the internationally known artist from Chile, was coming out of his semi-retirement of painting celebrities, to paint one last celebrity picture in honor of Michael Jackson. I remember hearing about Ganizu back in the mid-90's when his painting of Pope John Paul II became famous for being blessed by the Pope himself. So I checked out his interpretation.
I love it. He actually painted two different paintings of Jackson doing his moonwalk, but they are totally unique and unlike any other painting of him that you've ever seen. I don't know what the original paintings cost, but I bought a copy of the original for a good price. I got it in the mail just the other day and it is awesome. I love it. I totally recommend to any real fan of Micheal Jackson any of the two Ganizu paintings. Here is a link to the site that I bought my paintings from http://www.michaeljacksonart.webs.com

Did Michael Jackson Die Young?
Did Michael Jackson Die Young?
Pop legend Michael Jackson just died at age 50.
"Gee, that's young!" more than one person replied, when I shared the news.
But he lived several lives within those 50 years, including one as a boy wonder with the Jackson 5, and another as the King of Pop. He also lived as a recluse, on acreage that mixed Toyland with a zoo, and that life was curtailed by the one he lived as a defendant in a criminal case, from which he was exonerated.
How much life did he get out of his years? "Plenty," is my guess.
You cannot take one statistic and infer too much from it.
Speaking of longevity and vitality, there is something called the Body Mass Index, or BMI. It is a single number that depicts your level of obesity. Here is a post by Alan Lickerman that explains this stat:
"Body Mass Index (BMI) is now the standard measurement used to assess body fat composition, calculated by dividing your weight in kilograms by your height in meters squared (calculate yours here). The National Institute of Health now defines anyone with a BMI>25 as overweight and anyone with a BMI>30 as obese (although it's worth noting BMI fails as a good measure of obesity for people who are extremely muscular). Unfortunately, more than 50% of Americans have BMI's over 25. Overweight and obesity have clearly reached epidemic proportions."
That disclaimer in parentheses is golden, and proves my point. If you are muscular, you can probably toss away your BMI score with the tofu wrappers. It doesn't tell enough of a story to describe or explain your fitness level.
I'm sure there are folks that beat themselves for having a BMI that is one or two points away from where they believe the optimal point is. The psychological and emotional damage they inflict is possibly worse than the weight they carry.
Add to this the fact that a very recent study says those that are slightly overweight, not "normal" weight, have a better chance to live longer, and most folks have to be utterly confused about interpreting the numbers they read on their bathroom scales.
That recent study, advocating slight pudginess, is just one stat, one data point, in a swirling sea of oversimplification.
Don't allow yourself to become the captive of a single stat, because by itself, it is not conclusive in characterizing of your overall fitness level and quality of life.

Remembering Michael Jackson
Remembering Michael Jackson
I remember the first song I fell in love with sung by Michael Jackson. It was "I'll Be There". It is still one of my favorite songs, even after more than 40 years. There were other good songs that came out by the Jackson 5 at the time. Back then, I thought they might fade away like Sonny and Cher as music in that era started to drastically change. Musicians like the Doors, Jimmy Hendrix and the Rolling Stones started taking front and center stage. Who was to know this little boy with the crystal clear voice would become one of, if not, the most famous musicians who ever lived?
Fast forward to the late seventies when Michael went solo and put out "Off The Wall" with "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" and "Workin Day and Night". Then came the early eighties and cable t.v. M.J. exploded on Mtv like the A bomb with "Thriller". There was also " Billy Jean" with his famous moonwalk and white glove, not to mention "Beat It" and " Startin' Somethin", more of my favorites. You would hear his music everywhere; in the clubs, blasting out of people's cars as you were driving down the street, and see his videos constantly being played on m.t.v. Everyone wanted to be Michael Jackson or at least look like him. He was the on top of the world.
There are so many more memories of Michael Jackson. "Smooth Criminal" has to be one of the most amazing videos ever I have ever seen. How the gravity move is done, I will never know! The head morphing in "Black and White" was also something. I thought it was pretty cool in "Remember The Time" where they all spun around and turned into piles of dust. His creativity was like an endless waterfall or display of fireworks; always something different and amazing to watch.
Michael certainly experienced the highest of highs in the 80's and the lowest of lows in the 90's as the child molestation charges surrounded him. For anyone who believes those allegations, the ninth of the Ten Commandments is "Thou Shalt Not Bare False Witness". None of us were there. There has never been one shred of evidence in my eyes that has proven him guilty. Why did the PARENTS let the kids stay with him for weeks and months at a time if there was "proof" he was a child molester? Michael Jackson's fame and money seemed to be both a blessing and a curse, especially since he was such a ridiculously generous and wealthy celebrity.
It is not because Michael sold more records than any other entertainer in history that has made me a such a huge M.J. fan for so many years. It is not because of his 13 grammies, countless other awards, or his style and incredible innovation. It is not because of the eight Guinness World records he set that will doubtfully ever be matched. It is because he was an astoundingly talented person with an extremely generous heart. He gave more money to charity than any other entertainer in HISTORY. He helped countless less fortunate people all around the world. I truly believed the songs came from his heart when he sang about making the world a better place. Yes, he was very different. That's what made him Michael Jackson.
I was shocked when I heard about Michael's passing. My heart is still heavy as I write this article. It makes me so sad that it took his death for so many people to finally realize his unmatchable talent and contributions to this world. He has gone to a better place and in that respect I am happy that he no longer has to deal with the vicious attention seeking reporters and media. I wish I could have met him or at least shaken his hand. But all I can say is, I am so thankful to have lived in the era of Michael Jackson and witnessed the true King Of Pop. He showed more love and gave more joy to this world than any other entertainer I have ever seen or probably ever will.
So rest in peace, dear Michael. You deserve to. Your work is done. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and especially his children.

Michael Jackson's Passing - What Does That Have to Do With Home Based Business and Your Life?
The World is stunned at the News of the passing of Michael Jackson, known as the Pop Idol.
His sudden death has shocked the world and fans around the globe are mourning his passing, and celebrating the music influence that he shared over decades.
Devastated fans who were expecting great things from his concerts to be held in London in July, are at a loss in more ways than one, the loss of the Concert not happening, the loss of Michael himself, and the dilema of what to do with their tickets.
Critics and news crews are of course, disecting his lifes events, and searching for meaning and truth, and maybe scandal, in the different events that Micheal Jackson found himself facing.
Good or strange, he has touched and influenced all of our lives in one way or another.
When big events like this shock the world, does it not get you thinking? I know that it does for me. Do you start to think about your life, and what the meaning of your life may be, what influence you may have on others around you, whether it be a handful of people, or a whole lot more?
Have you ever looked at your life, and thought about a legacy you would like to leave behind you, for your children or loved ones, or many more beyond that?
Imagine being at your funeral, and looking back over your life. What would people be sharing about what they remembered about your life, and what influence you had on them? How would you have touched them, in one way or another? What difference would you have made?
Then maybe focus on your life right now, in your relationships within your family, with your loved ones, your children, your parents and extended family, your friends and neighbours, with your God.
Are all your relationships in good order, and if perhaps not, what could or should you do about them, while you can. We never know what is around the corner, what tomorrow holds.
Many of us spend our lives in the past, worrying about things we have failed at, people we have hurt, or who have hurt us, or things we have messed up on.
Some of us worry about the future, about our children, about the Recession, how we are going to make it through these tough times. How is our superannuation or share investments going to recover, to help us in retirement, how are we going to pay our bills if we have lost our job, or had our work hours reduced?
How are we going to make our mortguage repayments, the list goes on and on.
If we do find ourselves in a financial bind in these times, that can be pretty tough. The media speculates that Michael Jackson was doing the concerts in London, as he was in a lot of debt. Who knows, that may be the reason, or it may have been for his children, would be good to know that was the case.
Being in debt can be pretty stressful, just for oneself, in relationships, if you have been there, you know how it feels. Your whole outlook becomes clouded with worry about your bank balance, of how to make ends meet, how you are going to manage to make more money, how you are going to pay the bills, and get ahead.
If only there were a better way, maybe with a job you don't like, or trying to find a job in a market with higher unemployment.
Life can be tough and trying, we all know that, and we can choose to dwell on these things that bring our energy and mood down, or we can choose to look at life in another way. We can regret the past, or worry about the future, or we can choose to live in the Present, to appreciate the day that we have been blessed with, and the people that we can share it with, even be it at work. We can count our Blessings, enjoy the fresh air and blue sky, or rain, treasure the beauty of a flower blossoming, or the greeting of a happy dog, or the smile of delight on a child's face. We can rejoice at the energy and health we enjoy, and the food to nourish us, and learn to be grateful for the Blessings in life, and enjoy the Gift of the Present.
So as we reflect on Michael Jackson's lifes highs and lows, let us focus on the highs, for the times when he let his light shine out to the world, to bring joy and energy, song and dance, and to decide to let our lives be lived with a song or a dance, to let our lights shine for the world to see, whatever that means to us, to make a difference to another, that is what life is all about. To choose not to be bound by things in our lives, but to choose to live a live of freedom and peace and joy, whatever that means to you.
Many many people go through life, just accepting what life hands to them, and not expecting anything better, not really believing there could be another way, or another choice in life. Is this letting their light shine? Are they living the life of their Dreams, or just existing?
For some Working from Home with a Home Based Business Online, gives a sense of Freedom, and control of their financial future. They don't need to depend on jobs to pay their bills, their online business works 24/7, 365 days a year, whether they work or play. Could that be part of your Dream, to enjoy finacial and time freedom, to have enough for your family, your bills, and to have plenty left over to share and make a difference to others? Have you ever thought that possible?
If you want to live the life of your Dreams, to let your light shine, and want to know about other choices and options you may have in life, If you want a second chance, to be able to leave a legacy, to be able to live the life of freedom you have always wanted to, you have come to the right place at the right time.

Michael Jackson Only Released Six Studio Albums in the 30 Years From 1979 Through 2009
Michael Jackson's first album as an adult solo artist was 1979's Off the Wall which was released when MJ was only 19 years old. Up to that point Jackson was more well known as the lead singer of the Jackson Five than as a solo artist although he did have a solo #1 single in 1972 with "Ben."
Off the Wall established Jackson as a star in his own right (apart from the Jackson Five.) It included two #1 singles "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough" & "Rock with You" and has sold over 7 million copies to date in the United States alone.
His next album, 1982's Thriller, established Jackson as a true superstar. In fact Jackson was so "big" during this time that probably the only valid comparisons as far as level of fame can be made with Elvis Presley in the 1950s and The Beatles in the 1960s.
Thriller went on to be the biggest selling studio album in world history and it still holds that title today. Thriller was more than just an album, it was a phenomenon and it was known for more than it's music. The music videos made for the album changed the medium forever. In particular the groundbreaking "Thriller" video is likely the most famous video ever made and many still consider it to be the greatest achievement in music video history.
At this point Michael Jackson was the biggest pop star in the world. But over the next 27 years (until his untimely tragic death on June 25, 2009) he released only four studio albums: 1987's Bad, 1991's Dangerous, 1995's HIStory, and 2001's Invincible.
So was Michael really so "unproductive" during these 27 years or was he holding back a lot of recorded material? There are rumors that the latter is true. In fact, earlier this year it was reported that Jackson has over 100 songs recorded that have yet to be released and that he purposely set aside to only be released following his death.
Is that true? I don't know. But if it is it gives MJ fans something to look forward to. Even though the "King of Pop" is gone, he may still have more music to share with us after all.

In an interview on Thursday, a lawyer with Jackson, said Metzger approached the doctor in April to propofol to help to sleep.
"Dr. Metzger said that it was dangerous, possibly life and must not be outside of the hospital," said lawyer Harland Braun. Metzger Jackson prescribed instead of two small quantities of sleeping pills, says Braun.
He said Metzger, with the files of the Coroner's office, never by Murray and is ready to the authorities. "
"It could be that Jackson was a witness in search of drugs or looking for someone for the handling of this product," said Braun.
The investigators combed the Murray properties on Wednesday including the information on propofol. The mandate of the search in Las Vegas has allowed entry of the shipment, the purchase and delivery of documents for the drug trade.

Battle brewing over Michael Jackson's music empire
Battle brewing over Michael Jackson's music empire
In another sign that a battle is brewing over control of Michael Jackson’s music empire, attorneys for the late pop star’s mother filed court papers today accusing the temporary administrators of his estate of “keeping her in the dark” about the state of his affairs.
Attorneys for Katherine Jackson urged an L.A. County Superior Court judge to order the administrators, two longtime associates of her son, to submit to depositions and turn over a slew of documents, including the contract that controlled the comeback concert series scuttled by his death.
Such documents are “crucial to the question of the proper administration of the estate ... and the propriety of naming the temporary special administrators as permanent personal representatives of the estate,” lawyers for Katherine Jackson wrote.
Judge Mitchell Beckloff declined today to hold a special hearing on the request and instead added it to the array of issues to be taken up Monday, when lawyers are due in court to discuss the estate and permanent custody arrangements for Jackson’s three children.
Katherine Jackson, 79, was initially appointed temporary administrator of her son’s affairs, but the judge transferred that power to John McClain, a music executive, and John Branca, an entertainment attorney, after they produced a 2002 will naming them executors.
Beckloff is to address the validity of the will at the Monday hearing. In the meantime, he ordered McClain and Branca to seek Katherine Jackson’s opinion in any major business dealings.
In their filing, Katherine Jackson’s attorneys said Branca and McClain had refused to provide documents they requested or placed “cumbersome and unreasonable restrictions” on access to them.
A lawyer for Branca and McClain denied those allegations.
“Nothing could be further from the truth,” wrote lawyer Jeryll S. Cohen.
She said the “cornerstone” of Katherine Jackson’s complaint was her inability to view a contract between the concert promoter AEG Live and her son. The contract covered a planned series of 50 concerts in London as well as unspecified film projects between the L.A.-based promoter and Jackson.
In a separate filing, a lawyer for AEG said Katherine Jackson’s legal team had refused to sign a confidentiality agreement that, among other things, barred them from using the information contained in the contract in any legal process other than the probate court proceedings.

Omer Bhatti is not the son of Michael Jackson
Omer Bhatti said, it is not the son of Michael Jackson and his mother was not the lover of MJ.
Omer Bhatti Michal Jackson now says was not her lover mothers.
Unfolding as one of the song "Billie Jean,''Omer Bhatti has his mother Pia Michael Jackson was not the lover, and it is not the Love Child, the media have made him to be.
Instead, Bhatti is now to tell the press that he had information to the forefront at the funeral of Jackson this month, because it was "the best friend of Michael" and "like a son for it," not only because its mother had a connection with the pop star in 1984.
According to Bhatti, he met and Jackson, while his family was on holiday in Tunisia. Jackson is so excited about the boy that he had stolen, he and his parents in Los Angeles, where they live, on his Neverland Ranch in the next eight years.
And yes, Bhatti was one of the boys, a bed with Michael in front of the famous interview with Martin Brashear, in which Jackson has revealed that the children often slept in his Neverland ranch and lying with him.
What makes this story so strange, if this is the fact that the brother of Michael, Jermaine, has publicly suggested that the boy is his son Michael, and it was shown why he was room for the funeral.
If the family has just moved in front, because it was Michael's "best friend", not Jermaine have just said that?
Then Jermaine said, after the death of Michael then perhaps he just tries to cash in Latoya Jackson style of care and to spread rumors about the secrets of the madness of the family?
I suppose we never know exactly what the Jackson family box. But stay tuned this week for more than the Jackson family matriarchs of the family drama, Katherine, face against Debbie Rowe this week before the court for the custody of their three children Michael KNOWN

Rupert Everett: Michael Jackson was lucky "that he died"
You know how sometimes you say something but then wish you could stuff the words back in your mouth?
Do you think maybe Rupert Everett feels that way?
Here's how he sounded off on two people we all know in London's Daily Mirror.
(Who's Rupert Everett, you ask? He's the guy who played Julia Roberts best friend in "My Best Friend's Wedding." And I think he was Julianne Moore's best friend in another movie.)
On Michael Jackson: "He was a freak. He looked like a character from 'Shrek.' He was a black-to-white minstrel."
(Oh yeah, this guy was the voice of Prince Charming in "Shrek 2," too.)
He apparently wasn't looking forward to the King of Pop's series of comeback concerts in London. "It wouldn't have mattered how good or bad he was. He wouldn't have managed to do all of them and the press would have destroyed him," Everett said. "I think it was fortuitous that he died."

Michael Jackson is deeply hurt and humiliated by the experience, and upon his return to Bahrain and the search for the various traditions and spiritual values, perhaps from this humiliation.
